Supporting Moldovan cyber security strategy

Cyber Capacity Unit were commissioned by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office in Chișinău to produce guidance for the Government of the Republic of Moldova to support their national cyber security strategy. There is immediate and significant threat for Moldova and it was a great pleasure to work with representatives from across the government to produce this report.

I was very pleased with the work that the Cyber Capacity Unit (CCU) undertook, providing recommendations for the Moldovan government as they look to strengthen their defences against cyber attack. We thank CCU’s UK experts for reacting quickly in providing practical recommendations that have been well received by the Moldovan government. This important work complements other EU and US activities in support of Moldova’s cyber security strategy, and underlines the strong friendship between the UK and Moldova.
— Steven Fisher, His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova

During his first official visit to Moldova, UK Minister for Europe Leo Docherty MP handed our report to Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.

It's great to see this work getting such a high profile and ministerial endorsement from the UK. We look forward to getting back to Chișinău in the not too distant future
